Pros

Interesting people, variety of work

Cons

Early industry specialization removes the generalist experience which is so vital in consulting, lack of prominent alumni limits exit opportunities, no focus on local work meaning a lot of travel, global staffing model is downside as you may be forced to remote geographies for more than 3 months per year

Pros

The pay is reasonable, and you get to live a pretty nice lifestyle while traveling for work. That said there is a clear difference between Oliver Wyman and the Bains, BCGs, and McKinseys of the world as far a perception goes. HR was always vary helpful. The people you work with are very smart and usually nice. You get exposure to lots of different industries, companies etc etc. Yeah, that is about all I can say about it. I wouldnt work there again. I would work at a boutique firm. Also, pay is the same across all geographies which hurts if you are in NYC.

Cons

They are downsizing very fast right now
