Pros

Omada Health is an amazing company with a clear purpose. It's filled with smart, motivated people who genuinely care about helping others. I chose Omada because of its strong mission to improve health outcomes, and I've loved working alongside a supportive, talented team. Remote-first culture means flexibility, strong communication, and trust across all levels. Plus, the benefits and wellness perks are great and show the company truly cares about employee well-being.

Cons

The company is growing fast, so sometimes things feel uncertain or unclear. Cross-team collaboration can occasionally slow things down, causing projects to take longer than expected. Processes could be simpler in some places. It's also easy to feel disconnected occasionally in a remote-first environment. There’s room for improvement in streamlining decision-making.

Pros

Obesity-related chronic diseases are the hardest and most important problem to solve in healthcare. Omada's mission is to meaningfully improve the lives of our members, combining the best behavioral science, deeply empathetic care-teams, and the latest in AI to improve the health and reduce the risks of cardiometabolic diseases. Its a great mission and a great place to work. -Remote-first means you can work anywhere in the U.S. No commute! -Leadership team truly cares about its employees -Industry leader in our space -Great growth opportunities -Amazing co-workers -Flexible hours -Competitive pay -Great customers and partners -Over 1 million members served. Our members are the reason we are all here. We impact their lives daily in big and small ways. THANK YOU COACHES & SPECIALISTS! You folks rock!

Cons

Healthcare is hard. Things that are easy at other non-regulated companies are difficult when dealing with digital health. To truly thrive at Omada, you need to embrace the mission. It gets you through the hard days and makes it worthwhile.

Pros

Remote work and flexible hours

Cons

Flex model with inconsistent pay for coaches - Since November of 2024, coaches have only received 1 week with a full 40 hours worth of pay. Career growth opportunities are incredibly limited, you're more likely to receive a promotion if you leave the company and return years later... Omada loves to hire "boomerangs" rather than promote from within. Health Coaching scope and job responsibilities have evolved into a "jack of all trades" leaving most coaches feeling burnt out and dissatisfied with their role. The job feels less like "coaching" and more of a "glorified customer service representative" - The overall coaching experience has taken a steep decline in recent years as a result of GLP1s flooding the market. Education and experience are not considered for compensation. Starting wage is laughable, and raises are mediocre.
