Pros

Fully remote. Flexible Time Off. Meaningful mission. Amazing humans working there who are super welcoming and helpful. Surprised at the diversity on my team. Straightforward hiring process and phenomenal communication from the technical recruiter. Tech interview was live coding challenge with a repo they send to you ahead of time (no nonsensical DSA riddles). Depending on the HM, AI use might be allowed. System Design interview wasn't bad at all. A super reasonable and realistic tech interview. Overall, one of the best swe interviews I have ever experienced.

Cons

There sure are a lot of meetings for a company that tries to be low on meetings. Also because folks are in different time zones, you gotta be strategic in blocking of time on your calendar between meetings for lunch, focus time, and screen/bio breaks.

Pros

I truly love working here. The company’s mission is inspiring and meaningful, and you can feel its impact in the work we do. Leadership is generally collaborative, and the culture is inclusive and welcoming. Compensation is competitive, and the benefits are among the best I’ve seen—truly a standout. The remote-first environment offers a lot of flexibility, which I appreciate.

Cons

That said, the distributed workforce model presents challenges. Without clear company-wide working norms, coordination and execution can feel slow and fragmented. It often takes longer than it should to get things done, which can contribute to stress and burnout. Leadership development could be more intentional and continuous, particularly at the mid-level. There’s also a sense that executive leadership is somewhat removed from the day-to-day realities of the broader organization.

Pros

Good salary, flexible schedule, and fully remote. After hours work is rare.

Cons

Engineering leadership used to be smart and open to differing perspectives. They've been replaced with fragility. If you're not white or Asian, prepare to be marginalized.
