Pros

- Fully Remote Role - Really great people - Work feels impactful - Home Internet Stipend - Good Health Benefits

Cons

- Poor hourly rate, below market average - Education & Experience is not considered for starting pay - Hours fluctuate per business needs. Health Coaches will often go months at a time working 35 or less weekly hours which severely impacts financial stability. - VERY little opportunities for growth - No 401k matching - Constantly increasing expectations & workload, but offered no additional compensation - Annual raises are sub-par, there is no reward for tenure/loyalty - Faulty & inconsistent metrics for reviewing performance - Limited scope & resources for performing the role. If you're a career-oriented individual who values growth, stay far away from this role.

Pros

The people at Omada Health are truly mission driven and work hard to solve big problems to improve health for millions of people. The product itself is amazing!

Cons

The turnover on the customer success team is a real problem and impacts the sales team's ability to land expansion deals. There's a lot of talk about professional development but it seems like some of the leaders value external hires over institutional knowledge. Weird hurdles are put in the way and inhibit employee growth.

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're thrilled to share that Omada has grown quite a bit in some of these highlighted areas in recent years. This year alone has brought the launch of Omada Learn, Management Development Experiences, Director Development Experiences as well as Executive Development Experiences throughout the organization. As we continue to grow, our goal is to continue to invest in the development of our Omadans so that we provide great leadership and growth opportunities throughout the organization. These programs, alongside a heightened focus around our mission values and culture continue to strengthen the core teams here at Omada and have recently resulted in Omada being certified as a Great Place to Work! Your feedback is important to us as we design and evolve our programs. We strive to reward and develop those that contribute to our mission of improving the lifelong health of our members and changing healthcare for the better.

Pros

The people are largely amazing. They're creative and smart. The office is beautiful, comfortable and very easy to get to on transit. Dog-friendly with catered salad every day (get in early before the avocado disappears) and a warm meal Friday.

Cons

-Management and execs are very smart and creative, but has little patience for those who need to learn and very little time to teach. Most managers are first-time or relatively new managers, which is great experience for them, but has been rocky for those they manage. -No high-level HR representation. HR lead is currently being handled by another leader with another high-ranking title. It's hard to get issues handled in a timely matter as this person's time is split between two large roles. It's hard to see a company with so many bright people not have a people-focused leader to turn to with questions and concerns. -Below market-rate pay for most positions, not much ability to negotiate or ask for a raise or cost-of-living increase. -A strange environment of people who grand-stand in meetings and won't let others get a word in edgewise, people who have been hired without interviews and people who have worked hard for one or more years at the company without a proper review or compensation adjustment until late.

Thank you for your review. I’m saddened to hear that your experience has not matched our intention of creating an inclusive, collaborative, and engaging environment. You'll be pleased to know that our People and Culture Leader has now joined us, and we're focused on addressing these important issues together. Your feedback is incredibly valuable. Thank you, Sean
