Hi there, This is far from the experience that I'd want anyone at Omada to have, and in no way reflects the kind of environment we are all working so hard to build. I know it might not always feel this way, but I promise there are people around you who can help. Can you please think about whether there's someone you'd feel comfortable having this conversation with, whether it's your manager, a People & Culture member, or me? In order to get to where we're all trying to go as a company, we need to make sure that things like this are surfaced right away, and we're able to get to the root of the problems that we need to fix. As I read through your advice to management, I found myself nodding along with a number of things you've raised as "musts" for our team. We must cultivate a culture where our folks can give each other feedback directly and in the moment. We must give ourselves the freedom to disagree, and thoughtfully consider a range of viewpoints before coming to a conclusion. We need to make sure every Omadan feels that their role & ownership is clear, and that they're supported in taking their next career steps, wherever those may be. These are all things that I have been putting a great deal of time and focus toward, and I've seen our leaders doing the same. While I do believe that great progress is being made across the company, it's important to always continue pushing ourselves to speak the truth (no matter how controversial it may be), learn, and grow.
