Pathetic Lack Of Training

Pros

Able to choose the Health/Dental/Vision insurance options that are best for your family. Most collegues are nice and pleasant to work with. A lot of very knowledgeable people on the team. Good Pay.

Cons

There is NO training plan for new employees. Unless you have several years experience on the ServiceNow platform and experience as a consultant, you will struggle. 3 weeks PTO but almost impossible to take that due to project load. CEO tries to be transparent, but you get the feeling he his hiding something and just waiting to sell the company to make a boatload of money.

They are a foundational part of the overall benefits package we have put together for our employees to promote their well-being. We are disappointed to hear your experience has resulted in you feeling that Cask does not support new employees with training. We have a robust onboarding process - Cooper Camp - that many employees have expressed is the best they’ve ever experienced. We are in the process of expanding that to incorporate a “consulting excellence” program to provide better support and resources for our consulting team. We budget significant dollars annually toward training - and specifically toward ServiceNow certifications. Managers are trained on creating development plans with each of their employees that should include specific training goals. We realize that new employees need time to get up to speed and are working hard to build in as much time as possible before they are expected to be billable on projects. Transparency and communication are foundational to making Cask an exceptional place to work, and we encourage you to reach out to the leadership team or support team if you have any questions or concerns.

Growing so fast they are hiring some questionable quality people (not bad, just not as competent)

We agree that Cask is focused on delivering results for our clients that are also high quality. Recruiting the right people is a key factor in achieving this! Our talent team has been working on upgrading our processes so that we are better at assessing talent for delivery roles and are more effectively communicating expectations of what each role will entail. We feel it’s important that candidates interview Cask as much as we interview them to ensure it’s a good fit all the way around. Also as we recognize challenges in finding ServiceNow and consulting talent, we will continue to look for ways to onboard and support team members to help them gain important, valued skills including initial and ongoing development plans. Pros

The upside in working at this company was the development opportunities you have depending on what project you are lucky enough to join.

Cons

The company says they care about their "Coopers" and that this is a family. However, I was laid off due to the company not receiving the contract they were expecting, my access was terminated immediately after my call. Many of my peers were also affected, their entire process showed that they don't really care about their employees as they like to advertise.
