A great experience

Pros

There were many chances to show that you can make processes better and be a part of decision making. With the extreme growth and several mergers that happened there was much to learn and working at Align was a great experience. There were several great people working at Align and everyone was always very friendly.

Cons

With the extreme growth and several mergers some employees felt left out. The tasks that would come up and the workload from being a successful company may have been difficult for some people to handle but I did not personally find this a con and prefer having a busy work environment.

Pros

They are always hiring, and they pay on time.

Cons

Skimpy benefits, no sick leave. They cut the benefit package in 2012. Low pay, lots of work, no career growth, Senior management and investors are getting rich, while they cut back pay and benefits for employees. Legacy employees create very hostile workplace to hold their positions against smarter new employees. Located in an old building with air quality issues, surrounded by coughing sick people every day. Company is horse-traded by vulture capitalists - now it is called One Call Care Management.

Pros

Big company that grew/is growing through acquisition, so if you want to work for a big company that may be/is getting bigger, this may be a good fit for you. Could be lots of opportunities after they regroup all of their consolidated, acquired companies.

Cons

This place is a mess! What do you get when you buy 3 or 4 or 7 companies, throw them in a bag and shake them up? A great company salad?! Nope, guess again! Several silos in the organization where information doesn't flow in any direction and no one knows what's going on.
