Pros

Pay benefits and PTO are good...but it's a lure. It makes you a prisoner reaching out to anyone on the outside to save you....I was saved! I started with USC in 2007. Oh and I left in 2015..not sure why it didn't give that option. The bus rolled in to USC in 2012...3 years I waited patiently that merger issues would be ironed out.

Cons

If you have a mind you will not be able to utilize it. Too many groupies and not enough work ethics. Permissions to do your job well will not be given. And someone is waiting in the corner to take credit for what you did. If you are unfortunate to have "merged" with this company god be with you. When One Call merged we thought finally things would get better...joke was on many of us. Things just got worse...we have a support group for jumpers and ones that were given a box and tossed out. I was promoted in 2013 not with the expected your doing a great job but with "it was decided by the executive team that I have too many things to do and you needed to take some of my respinsibilities" ..way to go..you must be proud of your leadership skills. I would love to say this is all in one department...being Accounting...it's not.

Pros

None. Every other company in town will treat you better.

Cons

Management squeezes the healthcare providers and workers tighter and tighter. They make huge markups over 500% on some products but its all for senoir management and the investors. There is no sick leave, you are supposed to use your few vacation days when your are sick. There is no retirement except what you take out of your own pay for your 401k. If you have a good idea to help the company there is no sense in telling anyone.

Pros

Big company that grew/is growing through acquisition, so if you want to work for a big company that may be/is getting bigger, this may be a good fit for you. Could be lots of opportunities after they regroup all of their consolidated, acquired companies.

Cons

This place is a mess! What do you get when you buy 3 or 4 or 7 companies, throw them in a bag and shake them up? A great company salad?! Nope, guess again! Several silos in the organization where information doesn't flow in any direction and no one knows what's going on.
