Pros

I really love working here. What you put in is what you get out. It really is. You may hear some be frustrated that they haven't progressed to where they think they should be, or not get paid what they think they deserve, but most probably are not putting in 100% in the things that matter. (Attitude, productivity, quality, attendance/tardiness, going above and beyond). You will not get promoted by sitting in your seat long enough but will if you are invested, engaged, and willing to get things done instead of complain that someone else should do their job better. My team is amazing and everyone gets along and wants to help each other. We really have to work at keeping a positive culture and it starts at the team level. There are team builders, competitions, and initiatives to help motivate the team. Its something you have to be willing to contribute towards and not just expect to happen. I think the benefits are generous and very competitive.

Cons

The pay can be better. Although everyone is hired at an entry level pay in Operations, there are small increases in salary after that. Team Leads should be paid more for all they do. I have heard Supervisors think they "deserve" more for being here long enough, but are not willing to put in any extra if it's whats needed for the team or company. We lost some of our edge with all the recent mergers but I do feel we will see more investment in 2015 in getting our "mojo" back. There are so many protocols it can be paralyzing to figure out how to do something without getting an error reported on you.

Pros

Weekends and holidays off, decent starting salary; business hours, monetary rewards for overachievers; holiday celebrations and treats.

Cons

QA-ridiculously strict and unnecessary; 45 minute lunch; PTO will always be denied; No sick days have to use PTO, yet still get "occurrences." Meet Quotas or you're fired; Disciplinary actions continues even if you're improving if you don't meet their time schedule. File and call manipulation gives unfair advantage to favored or high producing employees. High producing employees have completed, easy files, while others have high maintenance files which lead to lack of "availability" and productivity, but, they'll always blame the employee. The new class of employees will be your replacement without your knowledge.

Switching Dept. And the outcome

Pros

Absolutely loved the fast past atmosphere and a lot of my co-workers. I originally started in the intake Dept which is great to start with before moving to another Dept. Pay is decent. They do team builders to get the Dept motivated. Those are fun if you enjoy your coworkers and want to know them better.

Cons

There is a lot of clicks including in management. If you do decide to switch to another Dept. And are very knowledgeable you still get questioned frequently about why you did something or they have to follow up on the protocol. ( even though you we're just in that Dept and know the procedures). Lack of dept. Protocols between depts.
