Pros

My area director was excellent, very attentive and available for questions or comments. They even gave me a small gift during teacher appreciation. The company provided the materials and resources for the tutoring and a plan for each student that was easy to follow. The documents required for tutors to complete for each student was not complicated or time consuming. Training was quite quick and easy - two Zoom meetings, one for the more clerical/HR side. The other focused more on being a successful tutor and the documents needed for each month.

Cons

I ran into some issues getting fingerprinted, but I think that was just a one-off problem for me. Again, I live in a more rural area so I didn't have as many tutoring opportunities as I would have liked.

Pros

There were no pros for me.

Cons

I paid money for medical exams and background checks. I was never paid for “paid training.” Was promised 40 hours per week when offered the job, but was not given 40 hours when job started. Was told the pay would be $20 per hour when offered the job, but was paid $11.25 per hour instead. Don’t waste your money and time with this company.
