Depends on the school location

Pros

Everything depends on the school you are placed with. I’m at a great location with helpful staff and friendly kids. There is little prep involved for my lessons each day. It’s relatively stress free.

Cons

Was originally told I’d work 30 hrs a week to receive benefits but am only scheduled for 29 hrs per week so they don’t have to provide benefits. Not cool. There isn’t any room for upward movement and pay is built around the school district schedule. It’s a good “mean time” job but don’t plan to stay long term especially with no work in the summer.

However, we understand your concerns about the hours and benefits discrepancy, as well as the limitations on upward mobility. Pros

Great trainings, flexible scheduling, good pay

Cons

They work with lots of schools, so don't take the first thing they offer if it doesn't seem like the right match. I've found I need to be proactive with OOOL to get what I need, but they are very supportive.

Awful

Pros

There were no pros for me.

Cons

I paid money for medical exams and background checks. I was never paid for “paid training.” Was promised 40 hours per week when offered the job, but was not given 40 hours when job started. Was told the pay would be $20 per hour when offered the job, but was paid $11.25 per hour instead. Don’t waste your money and time with this company.
