Cheap benefits and free candy in break room.

Cons

Upper management is not knowledgeable and run off any employees that have more knowledge than them. Their culture is extremely stuffy and has not grown with the times.

My immediate co-workers were great and we made a great team. Luncheons, treats, incentives were nice.

Cons

Upper management was horrible. They began to forget about the members and only cared about profit.

Pros

health coverage is amazing and cheap, great hours, occasional cash rewards. Great immediate managers that are understanding of life and your career goals.

Cons

Direction of credit union is leaning towards commercial banks, lack of knowledge by higher ups and other departments, advancement opportunities are rare unless you know someone really well (not what you know), its like the blind leading the blind, more executives and management than employees. Lack of salary compared to competition.
