Pros

-There are many great people who work at OneDigital. I made many friends, many of who were very supportive and helpful. -Quality company bonding time -Nice office space -Expanding and growing business

Cons

-Extremely poor management -New consultants are not trained to be managers, they automatically jump into the role. Little to no management/leadership training, which is evident. -Very immature managers (My manager talked negatively and made fun of everyone in our office, as well as our clients and the insurance carriers. She is a toxic and cold person.) -Zero consistency across teams. If you get a bad manager, you’re stuck and because they are the consultants, you have no say in anything. -The company promotes communication and team support, but when it comes down to it, they do not treat you like humans. -Manager has no conflict resolution skills or ability to see outside of her viewpoint to help you become better. No advice, no open conversations, no communication about how I feel, simply just work conversations. -A revolving door company. You are treated as just a number and a machine to get work done. No empathy or compassion. I was treated like I never mattered after all the work I put in to support my team/manager and the company. -Commission earnings are inconsistent and when you begin receiving commissions is inconsistent across teams. If you work for a newer consultant, you will not make nearly as much money as other teams until they grow their book of business. How much money you make depends on what team you happen to land on. -You are basically a slave to your manager, who has no problem replacing you. -Lack of support, compassion, and empathy for your real life issues that occur both inside and outside of work -Managers cannot take feedback or listen to individual needs. The managers try to make it a one size fits all mentality, which is just not the case given different team dynamics, different number of team members, different books of business, etc. -My mental health has struggled immensely from this job because of the work I put in but the lack of support, guidance, and appreciation I received. -My manager made me feel extremely uncomfortable and micromanaged my every move. -Little to no training, you learn as you go.

Pros

They will hire literally anyone

Cons

They don’t care about their employees or their wellbeing. They will abruptly fire anyone as I witnessed the other day. What they do is honestly probably illegal and probably the reason why they changed their name to OneDigital. Also randomly changing locations??? All without considering their employers ability and assurance of making this transition. They lie about all the benefits they have to offer, THEY WILL NOT PROVIDE YOU WITH TRANSPORTATION TO WORK, IT IS A LURING TACTIC AND A LIE. You are literally a slave with mind numbing and draining work doing cold calls. AND VERY VERY LOW PAY. Your typical day of work is changing the elderlies insurance plans to one that less benefits them without regard for their well being (surprise surprise). People’s LIVES are literally at stake when they’re making these transition as most of these people are low income and ALL of them are elderly. They need their medicines and many cases the transitions of insurances being made at Onedigital are contrary of helpful to these elerdyly innocent folks. DO NOT WORK HERE. Also HR is a joke. There is no HR, it’s just one single heavy set lady with a disgusting attitude and that’s it. She’s no help, her only real job is firing people.
