Pros

Remote opportunities Nationwide footprint is convenient

Cons

Frequently promotes “Best Workplace” awards, but the day-to-day employee experience does not reflect those claims. Public emphasis on DEI contrasts sharply with the lack of diversity in senior leadership and management. Growth strategy centers on acquiring smaller firms, often followed by restructuring that leads to instability and layoffs once it is financially convenient. Markets itself as a “one-stop shop” for small businesses, yet internal systems, service delivery, and billing processes feel outdated and inefficient. Advancement appears tied more to image, agreeableness, and networking than to competence, accountability, or outcomes.

Remote work done right

Pros

- the company has been remote before 2020, so there's no option of going back into office - the management structure is clear - my responsibilities are clear - Pay is great - Flexibility to manage home life is wonderful!

Cons

No in-person interaction. Not lots of interacting with coworkers either. My job at least is very independent. I don't have great relationships with my coworkers besides sending each other messages. Although this may be a con for some, it is a pro for me. I need a job that allows me to work independently and not require me to be in a lot of meetings. I can feel isolating, but I knew that going into this role.

Kind of misleading

Pros

Office is in Willis Tower

Cons

Commuter benfits are nonexistent, monthly "bonuses" are withheld for many months after October. They tell you it is inbound calls doing ten a day when in reality it is mostly outbound doing 75+ calls a day. Extremely high turnover with them bringing in new classes of people weekly to train how to pass the exam rather than learn every facet of insurance. At least half your class of people will leave within the first two weeks.
