Pros

Employee stock program, dental insurance is good. Pretty inclusive on who they employ. Direct supervisors and team members are ok. This position is only good if you are willing to suffer for a year to move to a different department that is better.

Cons

Many incentives that we were once given have been taken away and/or restricted/reduced. Customer CARE used to have a monthly bonus based on performance, more opportunities to work from home, and more flexibility in scheduling, but no more. The pay overall is lacking and overall less than others in the industry. Also, don't be surprised if the new team member you are training is making more than you! Raises are awful, it does not come close to keeping up with inflation. Overall the direct supervisors are pretty chill, but if a customer ask to speak to a supervisor, it is like pulling teeth to get them to take the call. Management above them doesn't care about you, you are just a number. You will be micromanaged to death, and call volume will be high. You can give them ideas on how to reduce call volume and create a better customer experience, but nothing will change. Your ideas mean nothing. Everyone in my department is at the end of their rope. They are only staying because they are close to retirement, loyal to their direct supervisor, or trying to hang on to their one year mark so they can move departments (don't think about moving departments before your one year, it's practically forbidden), or to new to know better. If you do decide quit or put in your two weeks you may have to pay back some of your vacation you used. Turnover would be higher than it already is if it wasn't for that!

Not terrible

Pros

I guess advancement with turnover being so high

Cons

Bonus’ getting taken because people don’t pay their bills. They force you to loan people (who technically qualify) for a large loan with a high payment only for it to go bad and then wonder why all these leave their company.

Pros

Good benefits , work- life balance , and I guess you can count rapid advancement because of turnover

Cons

Lack of bonus payout / low base pay for while upper management executives continue to get paid millions. The company routinely boats healthy quarterly profits while not paying hard working employees a living wage. Sad to say, several of my team members work a second job to make ends meet……This use to be great company to work for, but corporate mentality changed from taking care of the employees they in turn will take care of your customer to : only care about shareholders and profits. Your bonus monthly is solely dependent on you collecting payments from customers with poor credit. Around the time covid hit a lot of customers started to default and as a result the bonuses dried up. This wouldn’t be an issue if the base pay was fair but it’s not you can’t live on that alone. Upper management routinely cascades the message down to recruiting that a lot of team members make up pay with our very lucrative bonus structure. Not true anymore. The company is hemorrhaging seasoned team members and can’t seem to figure out why ? It’s the pay or lack there of that couples with the sense that corporate officers could truly care less about their workers on the front line. I think I speak for everyone at the company when I say year end raises at .10 to .40 cents / hr is just insulting.
