The company has toxic levels of nepotism and favoritism. At one point 4 of a VP's children were working there, and connections go a lot further than talent in terms of advancement. There's a sort of cult of personality around the COO, who can be uncomfortably aggressive. People have photos of him on their office wall with hearts drawn around his face and he once sent out a slack message inviting employees to guess which of their coworkers was pregnant. They have had issues paying bills in the past and do not seem to be on stable financial footing. Besides all of this, the product is slow and buggy.

- result is more important than the process - collaboration is actually discouraged in the progress, even it is encouraged when people talked about it - management is a bit messy, you always get 2 different opinions from different manager, which it means people are not on the same page, but the decision has been made. - some people at high position are surely not qualified, not only in hard skills, since hard skills are easy to learn and adapt, but soft skills too, for example, a simple practice in collaboration, one simple rule in collaboration is to be transparent, which means if you are not sure, say it out you are not sure, we should not need to pretend we know then give a wrong statement in collaboration. So I feel like the culture is a bit toxic,
