If you're part of the in group, you'll get promoted regularly and recognized for your contributions. But only if you're part of the in group.

Cons

It's still a good ol boys club, it's just a new set of good ol boys. For certain roles, it doesn't matter how well you perform or how much you bring to the company you will never be recognized.

Ookla has an amazing company culture with a strong focus on collaboration and innovation. I know we have had a lot of change as we've grown from a scrappy startup to a part of a publicly traded company but I've been impressed with our new leadership and their clear vision for the future.

Cons

Honestly, no cons at this time. I’m really excited about the direction we’re heading and love being part of this team!
