Pros

Some good professionals are there, but mostly in US only

Cons

Average people, not so good directors, higher management's commitments should not to be believed.

Pros

- Seasoned leadership that knows how to work in unison and stay focussed on the mission - Strong talent across the company that believes in the mission and fully engaged - Passionate CEO and leaders determined to have OpenGov products to uplevel our governments operations. And that is a strong belief of everyone who works at OpenGov - Strong Engineering execution. There is strong discipline to track and improvise process and product quality. Hard to find such focus in most engineering organizations - Transparency in company business health and operation

Cons

- With the growth in the company, increase focus on cross team prioritization and collaboration - Reduce status meetings

Avoid Unless You Love Puppet Managers and Boot-Lickers

Pros

Nothing - Good techies are stuck due to job market here

Cons

Puppet leadership — Indian managers have zero decision-making power; they just follow orders from elsewhere. Boot-licker culture — Senior/principal engineers survive by pleasing management, not by delivering value. False promises — Told during hiring you’ll have 2–4 WFH days; after joining, forced into office 8 hours daily. Excessive work hours — Expected to work another 5–6 hours at night for US teams. No appreciation — On-time delivery ignored; reviews always find a “negative” to block bonuses/VCP. Innovation is a façade — Buzzwords with no actual innovative work happening. Toxic bureaucracy — Even basic leave approvals are a fight. Arrogant, outdated mindset — Operates like a service company pretending to be product-based.
