The idea of the job

Cons

They never finished my training, especially blood-born pathogens training, before putting me in a house full of recovering addicts. No work life balance and you have to use your own vehicle, which they don’t reimburse you for. When you leave, be prepared to be belittled and gaslit/manipulated. Paperwork is the only thing that matters in this job, not the people they swear to move mountains for.

Helping people that are struggling to manage their symptoms and guiding them towards independence.

Cons

Office politics and conduct are less than ethical. I feel that I was treated very unfairly and retaliated against for using the chain of command to reach out for help because my supervisor was not guiding me in my position.
