Horrible working Experience

Pros

There is a legitimate opportunity to realistically make close to $1,000/wk. Management committed to extensive training.

Cons

You only get paid for hourly unless you sell to a certain rate. If you don't meet goals they don't let you work. You must be prepared to work 6 days per week including redundant conference calls where you hear the same speech over and over again. You will constantly be threatened to lose your job if you don't sell enough direct TV. You will constantly hear stories of how wealthy people tell you they are as a result. This is a glorified Pyramid Scheme which they get around by stopping residuals after your first generation team members.

Hello, Thank you for the feedback on our company. We are sorry to hear it was not the best fit for you. However, I would like to cover some of your concerns. I am so glad you enjoy the training and earning you received here. We pay our employees a competitive wage. We do offer bonuses, but our hours are not long they are a normal 8 hour shift with an hour for lunch that is pretty standard. A pyramid scheme is an illegal business practice, we do not participate in anything illegal. With the appropriate research on our company you will find we offer flexible schedules for morning and afternoon shifts, we hope you are able to actually research our company and write an appropriate review. Please feel free to give us a call and actually talk to our CEO to get some things cleared up. The people who want to be here are here, and the people who are looking to be an "employee" and not self manage themselves usually do not fit in long term. Which is fine we always want people to find what is best for them, as we like having a happy work environment. Any other questions or concerns you can reach me directly.

Everyone before me quit before I quit. High turnover company.

Pros

• Great Team Environment. • You can move up in the company fast if you make sales.. • Decent commission if you make enough SALES (You have to make more sales commission than your hourly to get paid anything extra). • Business professional dress code. • Some co-workers who are willing to help.

Cons

• Wasted tons of gas driving to and from work while only making $10/hr. • Standing in store all day trying to sell DirecTV to shoppers. (Most people hate Directv) • Potential to get stuck with a VERY BAD Team Leader • Training program is poorly designed. Stressed employees are to train the new hires with hand written notes on a dry erase board in a limited time frame with music blasting in the room every day. • You have to write lots of notes and you're expected to memorize all of it in very short time frame. • You're expected to attend UNPAID extra curricular activities (conference calls and meetings before/after work most days). • They seek entrepreneurs but expect you to do things a very specific, uncomfortable and scripted way, "Follow the system". (Memorize pitches word for word for each store and sound like a robot repeating yourself to everyone that walks by)

Hello, thank you so much for taking the time to write a review, as well as letting us know what you liked and disliked. We take all comments very seriously and strive to continue to improve. I am so glad you enjoy our team environment here, we honestly believe we work with some of the best and positive people around. It really makes is easy working with driven happy people, it is one of the reasons I love coming to work everyday. Also, we currently work with 7 national fortune 100 companies DTV is just the longest account we have had, and since acquired by AT&T it has been better then ever. Also, we do have turnover just like any other company, but it is not high. We do offer salary based positions with the opportunity to make commission on top of that to increase your income, we find most employees like. Also, I do agree you have to work hard at our company, nothing is going to get handed to you here, we are only looking for self-motivated and hard working individuals. We also have made our schedule more friendly so we offer multiple shifts and we do not work past 8:30 p.m. We offer a gas stipend for employees who qualify, but we do not reimburse mileage or tolls. We will take into consideration the volume of the music. We strive to create a comfortable work environment for each of our employees. We wish you the best of luck, and hope you find something that makes you happy.

We appreciate you taking time to leave us feedback on our glass door page. We are always striving to improve. However, we pride ourselves in having a great work environment and we don't have to lie to our employees. We pride ourselves on honesty and having an open door policy. Our website explains exactly what our company does when we were founded and the fields we work in. Since we work with large fortune ten clients we have client confidentiality agreements which is typical with any large company. I don't think such large well know clients would work with our firm if we were not a legitimate business providing them with their marketing and branding needs. Please feel free to reach out to our office to clear up and confusion you may have in regards to our company.
