      Has pros and cons and if you know what you like, could be great for you

      Pros

      Interesting products, smart coworkers, stability, Solid pay and benefits

      Cons

      Not as dynamic as other tech companies WRT moving around and variety of projects/products, compensation is solid but not top of market, waiting for people to leave in order to move up seems to be more common than other places I've worked, growth by acquisition model makes it real tough to continually incorporate culture especially when the acquired companies are typically culture-heavy, very hierarchical

      Pros

      Good company to work, but it can be a challenge if you become part of Oracle due an acquisition. Depending the function, it extends flexible working hours and has the Work from home policy. Good senior executive Management in HSGBU Support.

      Cons

      Takes far too long for Oracle standardization to take place, if you come on board via an acquisition. Growth / promotions can be slow. Salary increments are few & far spaced, rarely happen in a timely fashion. They take self-service to a different level & that can be very frustrating.
