      Good, small company atmosphere, but raises and bonuses are rare. New mandate about location in HQ for some positions

      Pros

      Smaller company feel and not a lot of bureaucracy or politics given the size (although that might vary from group to group). Great people, experienced, helpful - doing the right thing, not the expeditious thing. Until recently remote working was more common than office working. Great, very competitive starting salary

      Cons

      Raises and bonuses are rare. (Although I did get a raise after 3 years - people often go much longer without raises or bonuses.). New SVP is pushing for everyone to be located at HQ (or within low percentage for now) - so layoffs going on.

      Pros

      Work life balance, Very good medical, dental, and 401K plans. Location downtown Minneapolis

      Cons

      Compensation, constant change, seems to be downsizing, Forced Vacation over Holidays, Sales staff seems demoralized by all the changes

      Built a solid network while employed there for many years, lot to learn, easy to move around, solid processes

      Cons

      Employee morale is low, non acquisition employees are very low paid, company wants you to do more / take on more with no raises or promotions, pay vs. market is not comparable at all, have a "either you like it or don't let the door hit you on the way out attitude," managers are very well versed and helpful but aren't able to help get employees what they need pay wise or promotion wise due to red tape, very political
