      Pros

      Oracle offers inexpensive and/or free benefits to full-time employees. These benefits are marginally better than other similar companies.

      Cons

      Oracle is the world leader in nothing but bureaucracy and inefficiency. For those who want to be a faceless worker bee who follows inefficient procedures without question, Oracle is a great place to work. For anyone else, this is a place where careers and personalities go to die.

      Limited Opportunity for Advancement

      Pros

      Work is easy. No pressure from manager. Benefits are generally good I guess.Work from home is allowed for developers. Plenty of training material.

      Cons

      No raises for a decade or more, token bonus, no stock grants. ESPP is not very good. Hardly any promotions in development. It's very difficult to transfer internally. Management is shifting work offshore as much as possible.
