      The most chaotic, unorganized company I have worked for

      Pros

      Good benefits, People, the ability to work from home in some cases.

      Cons

      Internal processes are terrible, hard to negotiate through. Several departments for every step, not mapped out anywhere, flying blind, such a waste of time to try to figure it out for the first time. They consider themselves a self service company, meaning, don't ask for help, figure it out. People spend more time trying to figure out how to get something done then actually accomplishing anything. No decision making unless you are a global process owner who define all processes, no choices but to follow along, right or wrong. Small increases if anything. Big offshore outsourcer! No job security.

      Pros

      Health benefits are probably par none. Good gym at HQ Able to work remotely. Dull and slow pace of work makes for a relaxed work environment.

      Cons

      No salary reviews ever Paltry bonus. Think 1-2% if you are lucky. Limited opportunities to advance your career. Boot licking and brown nosing are prerequisites to get any work done. Political cronyism is rampant especially in the marketing and product management ranks. Businesses operate in silos. Cross-silo collaboration is non existent. Its all about who you know and how many asses you can kiss. Managers manage up because they know there is little they can do for their subordinates.

      Pros

      Lots of resources, lots of opportunities to learn new technologies, endless amount of work, high chance of getting your work into product, not asked to work on narrow focus, good medical benefits

      Cons

      hardly any raises, some of my colleagues were getting paid well below the industry average for their skill level, lots of take-overs and mergers leading to politics in upper levels of management and cause endless reorganizations. culture is very focused on business and bottom line.
