      - The name still carries some weight in the Valley - WFH flexibility - Good place to coast when you are busy with family or ready to retire

      Cons

      - You do not matter as a cog in the Oracle machine until you hit management - Bad PR (sales practices, hiring practices, hostile takeover) - Entry level analyst pay is atrocious, way too many layer pushing entry level pay down. Not a good place to start your career - High turnover rate (low pay, siloed teams/departments) - Outdated internal technology - Oracle would rather hire …

      Pros

      Good Benefits. Access to training programs. Great coworkers.

      Cons

      Barriers. Very little concern for customers. Doing business with Oracle is very difficult. A lot of process that takes away from selling time. Failed implementations, no accountability with upper management. Customers refuse to pay and salespeople are suffer by not being able to scale territories and commission draw backs. ALOT of responsibility put on sales team- project management, helpdesk resolution, collections, ect....

      Opportunity abounds. Many work locations to choose from.

      More "red tape" than the government. Old-school management. Political quagmire. The literal definition of Cronyism. No such thing as a raise.
