      Getting to be a very hard place to work

      Pros

      Historically, Oracle had always been a great place to make big money as a sales rep, but even that is changing. Some of the products are good and some of the people are good to work with. Good benefits.

      Cons

      The organizational structure is a mess. Too much in-fighting, chaos around accounts, "jump-ball" products that multiple groups can sell leads to lack of collaboration and information sharing. More and more clients are getting tired of dealing with Oracle, making it difficult to sell anything there.

      Good medical benefits, 401k match.

      Cons

      If you accept low salary just to have a foot in the door, forget about getting a raise ever. Need to work on a project without sufficient training.

      Fun place to work but lots of layoffs

      Pros

      The work is interesting for my team, the benefits are amazing and the culture is really laid back. You get your own office and free gym and games.

      Cons

      You may not have work to do at times and the pace for everything is slow. A lot of my friends were laid off recently, but if you're new and unaware of that you may enjoy it normally.
