      Oracle is a smart company that attracts great talent

      Pros

      You will be in some of the best conversations of your career--a very smart company with great colleagues when you find your tribe within the organization. Great customers, and great opportunities to learn new things all the time.

      Cons

      There are no merit pay increases. Being a great performer is not rewarded at all. I was talking to a colleague that just left the organization and he had not had a raise since 2009. Another colleague had not had a raise in 15 years! There are instances where they just take pay away because they are not going to offer that benefit anymore. There also seems to be no effort to retain really good to great talent.

      Pros

      -The oracle name looks great on your resume -The gym is amazing

      Cons

      -They hire tons of interns and contractors that will never get a full-time job because Oracle will not disclose more employees on their financials. -There are zero possibilities of advancement. Politics are pretty bad and preferential treatment of certain employees is clear. -Resources are really limited, because people are always changing. -Managers and directors are disrespectful, they yell lower-level employees -Oracle does not care about people, they just care about the money and how much you can work. They will make you work until you bleed.

      Pros

      I was only at Oracle for 4 years and it was a positive experience. You work hard but you are compensated fairly. I had the opportunity to work with good managers and they were supported in all the decisions that I made. I would highly recommend this company if you can hired.

      Cons

      Long hours and lots of work but you have the freedom to work from home. This is a big plus for anyone that has a family but wants to work for a good company,
