      Pros

      Great flexibility and work-life balance. Opportunity to work with some very senior and experienced engineers.

      Cons

      Salary and benefits way below market standards. Haven't seen a bonus in over 3 years. Very slow to make changes in product and stay up to date with latest technologies.

      Pros

      Global company. You can work from anywhere, with people from anywhere else. Hours usually flexible (depends on the job). Pretty good diversity. Generally good stability.

      Cons

      Oracle tends to be on the low side of salaries. You may need to be working at all hours to work with people scattered across the globe. Oracle tends to assume that people are interchangeable, rather than valuing individuals for individual skillsets.

      You have a job! but you have to make ends meet.

      Cons

      Sr. Executives are the highest paid in the area while most of the employees are the lowest paid! If you work at Oracle, do not expect any raises or bonuses unless you are a top executive. Do not take my word for it, just ask anyone working or was working at Oracle.
