-Great training -Smart people -Exposure to a lot of different technology -Fantastic Enterprise Selling experience -Many opportunities available throughout the company -Great benefits -Access to loads of resources

Cons

-Not everyone in sales set up to excel -If close deals larger than deal cap size you receive a lower rate on commission (essentially you are penalized for bringing in large deals) -Major conflicts between inside and field counterparts regarding who owns the right to own deals -Lots of turnover - constant revolving door at the company -The company is relatively soulless regarding their employees. You are a cog in the wheel of a major corporation and are made very aware of this

Oracle is the best in crafting a comp plan to drive behavior in the sales force. With many acquisitions it offers a lot of solutions to their customers.

Cons

The class action suit of CA regarding the solution engineers has really worked against the drive of this important piece of the sales team

political. difficult to be new, training program is terrible. Was not supported during my pregnancy/maternity leave.
