Best job I've ever had

Pros

Strong culture of collaboration among highly experienced and highly professional colleagues throughout the company. This is the only company for which I've worked in my 20+ year career where every employee contributes in a meaningful and productive way, and is willing to help and learn whenever new challenges arise.

Cons

Fast growth has challenged employees with a demanding workload, and has consistently challenged management to add team new members fast enough to keep up.

Pros

Origami Risks corporate culture is casual, respectful, strong sense of fun and work/life balance. Employees are not micro-managed. Everyone is treated as adults and expected to simply get their work done. Flexible schedule with work from home opportunity. Interview process was thorough and moved quickly. Applicants take a computerized analytical test, interview with various team leads. I knew throughout the process that I was moving on to the next level in the interview process. The entire interview process, from first contact to offer, took 5 weeks. Great communication from Human Resources throughout the process. Excellent benefits. Dog friendly office. Management is committed to employee growth.

Cons

The commute can be tedious depending upon where you live and the corporate office you work out of. But with corporate offices in major cities (Atlanta, Chicago, Philadelphia, Denver and London, UK.) it's to be expected. The flexible work hours allow you to miss the heaviest traffic times.
