Pros

-Got to meet a lot of new people that I really loved talking to, especially the customers who would come in everyday -Food is free if not heavily discounted -Most of the people I worked with were nice

Cons

-People were getting fired simply because a boss didn't like them -I was hired as a host but I had to do other jobs as well like answer calls, take cash, and pack to go even though they had two cashiers who's duties were those -I was the only host available in a 8 hour shift for the whole restaurant

Pros

Strait up honest kitchen work, no frills. Get the food out and make it right. Very good example of what international breakfast cookery should look like.

Cons

No emphasis on presentation. Coming from a fine dining background, it's difficult for me to plate quickly and throw food in the pass without the plates looking perfect.

Pros

The schedule is very flexible. You get tipped out a minimum of $10 each shift you work, so at least you go home with some kind of cash.

Cons

The owners pay no respect to their employees. They almost seem to feel "too good" to be caught talking to an employee. When something needs to be replaced, it either takes a very long time or that item is just replaced with a used, equally as bad, item. There are basically no chances of getting a raise, even if management considers you the best of the bunch.
