Leadership is supportive, approachable and values nursing input. Collaboration among staff (nursing, physicians, and support) is supportive and creates a safe and respectful environment. Hospital prioritizes patient safety, evidence-based practice, and continuing education. Opportunities for professional development, skill advancement and career growth. Benefits are competitive and work-life balance is encouraged. I feel supported and valued as a nurse.

Cons

Workload can be demanding and stressful. Scheduling can be challenging at times. Adapting to change in Workflow and/or Policy can be difficult.

My experience working with Orlando Health has been truly rewarding. I began my journey 13 years ago with a great deal of uncertainty. However, through the support, dedication, and commitment of the team and leadership, I was able to overcome those challenges and continue growing to this day. They made me feel valued and truly part of the family. Orlando Health provided countless opportunities for professional growth and development that I never imagined I could achieve outside the organization, which is why I chose to stay. Although I was initially hesitant and questioned my credibility, behind the scenes there was always a dedicated team working together to help me become who I am today. I am sincerely grateful to be part of this organization. It truly is the best place to work and feel fortunate to be part of such amazing and supportive team.

Cons

Hold self and others to high standards, continuing to balance expectations with workflow demands. High attention to detail can occasionally slow completion time but ensures accuracy and quality.
