      Pros

      Interesting process that was always changing. The American Engineering Manager was fantastic and I learned at ton at Ormat. The plant managers that had an engineering backgrounds were are great.

      Cons

      A select few plant managers are simply evil. I'm pretty sure at least 2 are sociopaths. The office environment is also very unstable.

      Pros

      Interesting engineering job in the field of green and geothermal energy. Creating Geothermal power plants all around the world.

      Cons

      Not a very rewarded job money wise. A lot of pushes and elbows to get a head. Opportunities to get a head are almost none

      Complacent Middle Management

      Decent benefit rates - awful administrators. Awesome Senior Management.

      Cons

      Middle management has been there for years, they are complacent, resist any change, etc. Ideas, complaints, etc. are treated as though they were never heard. The company is growing, but the managers seriously lack any professional management skills.
