Pros

Flexible times to go to work. Center-focused job. Job is not complex to learn.

Cons

You need a strong upper body and core strength to move beds and stretchers. Low base pay and management will not negotiate based on medical experience. Co-workers are too prideful.

Pros

Scheduling, staff helps others, fair and helpful orientation. CNO is visible and helpful.

Cons

Bullying, cliques, department gets overwhelmed easily with no help, very few security staff to depend on, not a place for newbies.

Pros

I had a great department manager and good coworkers. We worked as a team on my unit and department problems were properly addressed. Our manager stood up for the employees.

Cons

Upper management did not understand or seem to care about the workers. In meetings upper management would intentionally avoid answering questions and take even the most unrelated questions and try and steer them to their buzz word of the day.
