      Pros

      You can steer your own career path more directly. Small team mentality allows you to be an influencer regardless or of where you sit in the organization. Leadership with open minds but fierce convictions about putting the customer first.

      Cons

      No too many, I would say that if you need a lot of direct management, direction, or encouragement you might feel a bit rudderless. I suppose that's true anywhere, but at Advisor you can truly make your own path so if you are the type to need a lot of direction its just something to be aware of.

      Industry regulations create constant adjustments to our rules and necessary technology. Advisor Group is building out necessary changes and continues to evolve to meet the clients needs

      Lots of opportunity to get in on a great company and contribute to something bigger. Yes lots of work right now but all worth it. Great environment for those that like a challenge.

      Cons

      Regulatory landscape creates uncertainty in the day to day. Challenge to balance the day job with the strategic initiatives. Competitive landscape and limited industry talent pool making it difficult to obtain/retain resources.
