Wonderful team, fulfilling work, cutting edge industry, rapid growth
Pros
Incredible learning experience: Digital health is growing rapidly. Working at Oshi has accelerated my knowledge of this space and given me a rare skill set in healthcare. The team allows me to engage in projects that I find most interesting, attend meetings outside my work area, and support me in taking the lead on projects to develop my growth further. Team: I work across divisions, including product, engineering, clinical, and operations - everyone is respectful and personable. I've had numerous employees text and call on weekends to check-in or drop me a message weeks after our collaborative projects have finished just to say they miss working with me. It really feels like a family, but one that knows how to execute. Diversity: With everything going on globally, it is nice to know that your employees support diversity and justice. This is not hidden at Oshi. We discuss these things openly, and the leadership creates dedicated space for learning, discussion, and even financially contributes to these causes (despite being a pre-revenue startup).
Cons
It's hard to collaborate and work with everyone remotely, but I think that is true for all companies right now. Oshi is getting better and better at building remote relationships, including virtual cocktail/baking, virtual happy hours, and the aforementioned virtual DEI talks. It is a fast-paced environment, but I enjoy that. It is definitely a fun but hardworking team.
