Pros

The mission is inspiring, the people are dedicated and bright, and the work/life balance is great. I feel there is future job and skills/career growth here. All my corkers work hard and are kind; they're enthusiastic to offer explanations and background about the business; it's a stimulating learning environment where curious people thrive.

Cons

The pace can pivot quickly; it might not be for everyone. Overall I have only positives, it's been a healthy and inspiring place to work.

Pros

I do not have any pros.

Cons

Bullying, harassment, lies, favoritism, and chosen ignorance. It’s taken me years to write this because of the trauma this company inflicted. I was bullied by leadership and other technicians, then fired and said it was my fault. I was in love with this company and its mission, but the mission is only surface deep with the employees and leadership. They will take advantage, use, and abuse you, if you let them. Be careful, I stood up for myself and was treated like a villain. There are numerous other scientific companies to choose from, Ossium is just not worth it nor will they ever be. Look into places like Eli Lilly and Labcorp to get your foot in the door.

Ossium Health Response

We ask a lot of our team. Ossium employees are expected to be skilled in their disciplines, to work intensively on challenging problems, and to fully internalize the company’s mission all while maintaining a positive attitude. We strive to run a hiring process that brings in people who thrive in our environment. And while that process has worked well for most of our employees, it is imperfect. We understand that those imperfections have a cost, and we’re truly sorry that your Ossium experience did match our shared hopes for your time with us. We deeply value all feedback, positive or negative, as it helps us understand areas where we may need to improve. We take allegations of bullying, harassment, and unfair treatment incredibly seriously; such behavior is at direct odds with both our policies and our values, and doesn’t belong here. If there's anything specific you'd like to share, or if you're open to discussing your experience in more detail, please feel free to reach out directly to Jay (our head of People). We genuinely believe in our mission, and everything we do at Ossium on a day to day basis is aligned with our greater vision of improving human health. While I cannot change your past experience, I genuinely appreciate your candor. Thank you for taking the time to provide your thoughts; we hope you’ve found a role that is fulfilling and rewarding. Best, Kevin Caldwell, CEO, Co-Founder & President

Pros

Ossium is a growing start up in Cell/Gene Therapy. They are diverse, inclusive, energetic, and supportive. They have a positive environment for employees and the opportunity for growth is available.

Cons

Some growing pains that are typical of a start up but nothing that is worrisome.
