You will be in the cleanroom for at minimum 4 hours almost every day on the production team. You will also be working holidays, which will include one of the big three: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve or Christmas Day, good luck explaining that to your in-laws! Depending on what projects you are assigned out of the cleanroom, you could be very bored when not processing (however some people just choose not to work outside of the cleanroom). You don't get the opportunity to really expand your horizons in terms of different scientific processes (QC will never teach Production, Manufacturing will never do R&D, etc.) but since Ossium Health is a start up, no matter what team you are assigned you will be pulled in different directions. The San Francisco location is definitely valued more than the Indianapolis Team (they get 2 free lunches a week, almost all holidays off, able to work from home every Friday, etc.). It feels like money is always tight here which tends to make the San Francisco favoritism even more apparent. There isn't an HR person at the Indianapolis location, making it very difficult to let our issues be heard if we can't talk to management about our problems.
