No W/L balance & too much process / politics

Mission-driven; investment in important disease areas Many of the people are nice Global/international experience Decent benefits and pay

Cons

-Too political with Japan getting overly involved and derailing decisions or advocating for assets that don't make sense just because they came from Japan -Everything is a priority - overworked and no work life balance. Early AM and late evening meetings and a lot of international and domestic travel -Too much process and too much work being done by too many functions leads to a lot of unnecessary work. Many cooks in kitchen -Too many governance forums and acronyms

You don't need to have knowledge of the area you are in charge of so it's easy to move around the company.

Cons

Because people aren't qualified to oversee the areas they do, there's a lot of backstabbing and politics
