Pros
This review speaks to some of the steps Oversight has taken to protect their employees during the COVID-19 crisis. First and foremost, it is fair to say no business or organization could have adequately prepared for the onslaught of COVID-19. No company could predict exactly how the first global pandemic in over one-hundred years would impact the personal and professional lives of its' employees. Needless to say, Oversight has done what it can to assure each employee their job is secure. During such uncertain times, having a steady paycheck is paramount. Let's face it, employment is everything. It's housing, food on the table and health insurance. It's also purpose. Having a purpose to meet the ever blending days, weeks and perhaps months of shelter-in-place orders helps keep the mind focused. While times may change and the needs of the business adjust to the current state of the world, it is understandable there are no guarantees. Right now we have to consider ourselves lucky in light of an unemployment rate that is skyrocketing across the United States. Oversight has also taken steps to ensure we remain connected to one-another virtually. Scheduled drop-in meetings on different divisions to allow people to get the "pulse" of the organization, virtual team hangouts, on-line guest speakers and personal growth and development training have all contributed to keeping people together and involved. Yes, these are uncertain times, but while many of us are alone, we are alone together at Oversight.
