Pros

Ovia is committed to improving women's health, and measures its performance based on health outcomes and engagement from the millions of women who use its apps. The culture is awesome: employees respect each other, work well together, and learn from each other. It's rare to find a company whose business aligns so well with a mission that employees can believe in.

Cons

The office is a bit run down (chalk that up to startup frugality) and the downside of startup enthusiasm and fast pace is that systems often lag a few months behind the need for them.

Pros

Ovia Health has gone through significant expansion over the past couple years in terms of employee size, product mix, and financial results. Through all these changes, the company has continued to be an excellent place to work. The founding team is still in place and a number of new executives have joined the company, bringing an enormous amount of experience and quality to the table. I've been lucky enough to work with everyone on the leadership team, from the CEO (co-founder) to the heads of technology, product, growth/sales/marketing, and clinical affairs. Everyone who is hired to work at Ovia, from the top down, brings an unrivaled sense of passion and commitment to the overall mission of improving the lives of women and families. Building and running a sustainable business requires an incredible amount of intelligence, courage, and perseverance, both in times of great success and in times of adversity. The executive team has done an amazing job getting the company to where it is today from its Ovia Baby roots over 5 years ago, and I'm confident that the best days are still ahead.

Cons

Every company (especially a startup) will have a con depending on the day, week, or month - none of the potential cons come even close to overshadowing the pros of working at Ovia Health.
