Pros
Flexibility and ability to work from home if needed. Just don’t take advantage of that or it gets taken away.
Cons
Hardware is outdated. Company cuts employees as often as it cuts budget and expects what’s left to handle the additional load all keeping the same deadlines and expectations. Then it looks to the devs as not doing their job or meeting deadlines while ignoring the fact that the time estimates were done based upon the team being twice the size it now is. Has bi-annual company-wide layoffs. The reward for loyalty and tenure with the company is that you’re closest to being cut in one of the layoffs. Zero job security.
