Pros

Working for PDG allows entry level employees the opportunity to grow the most. They are mentored by senior employees and are given the freedom to be creative with their ideas. PDG offers employees the opportunity to branch out and learn different technologies, or brush up on certain lacking skill sets. The partners are constantly in the loop to make sure nothing falls through the cracks, but they also give you the opportunity to grow at a faster pace than compared to at a Big 4 company. There's never a time where they make you feel like you're just another employee for them. Even HR treats you as a person, and not just a name on the payroll books. They continuously schedule company events to keep morale high and allow everyone to continue growing their network.

Cons

Like with every other consultant, you don't know what your future holds. You can be put on any project.

Pros

PDG may be small, but we are mighty. Our teams have the opportunity to work among giants – Warner Bros, Sony, CBS, NBC – but we still maintain the many perks of working for a small company – namely camaraderie, mentorship, and impact. Starting day one, it was clear that our teams work well together, with senior staff that not only take a vested interest in my professional development, but make it a priority. In only a short time I have developed a myriad of skills that I would have never thought to pick up and on a daily basis I am involved in work that doesn’t take that development for granted; I feel like I am making a meaningful contribution to my team. I can’t think of a better place to start for a young professional. For us, this isn’t just a job; it’s an investment in our potential.

Cons

Can you think of something better than that California sunshine?
