Nice patients. Some nice co-workers. Good dental benefits.

Cons

Where to start? First, DO believe all the negative reviews (and where were they when I checked into the company before I accepted the job?!). Next, don't believe the good VERBAL reviews/comments because your first WRITTEN review (which is what counts) is going to be all negative, especially if it's right before the annual salary review, so the have excuses for all the crap they're going to throw at you. Then, although there will be some bonuses based on performance of the company, you may never realize the total amount you might've earned because of the cheating going on by bartering for work between dentist/pt, and under crediting charges to "Doctor House" when should go to the hygienist/DA, but maybe it's made up by charging out the wrong product to the insurance company. I agree, also, with the previous comments about regional managers and office managers. Clueless. Whole company is too money-driven and definitely does NOT follow the mission statement or have any ethics.

Everything else, shady shady shady upper management, If your not good enough for them they will stab you in the back fast. I worked for pds for 4 years and helped a drowning office rise again and boom they bright my replacement in for me to train which i didn't know was the plan, then they booted me. All because I didn't lick thier shoes like everyone else. Disgusting people in Gulf Coast.

- a lot of overtime

Cons

- medical benefits - understaffed IT Dept - low pay - have to fight for a raise - don't promote from within - lack of leadership - IT department has no sense of direction (turnover in manager positions) - seems like overtime was mandatory. If you don't work OT for projects you won't get recognized
