Poor Office and Regional Management

Pros

Great technical advancements and tools, good pay and good benefits.

Cons

Where do you begin. They have no empathy or care for their employees and issues they might have within the office. Management is not interested in employee moral or team building, they are only motivated by the dollar. If you have a problem in a PAC DEN office its your problem and they don't have time for you. Think twice before taking a job.

Great corporation, horrible doctors and operations managers.

Pros

Great philosophy from CEO, and vision. Good benefits and bonus'.

Cons

Too much micro management involved by operations mangers and doctors. Don't listen to employees and their suggestions. Operations managers, regional managers and Doctors don't follow company policies. OSHA regulations not being followed by some practices. Most of the Doctors need PDS, not the other way around. Too much focus on e-mails and not enough on practice.

Pros

I love the comraderie that owners in my region have. We support each other and share with each other our success and failures. Learning from each other assists our owner dentists in being able to provide modern dental procedures with a great level of service. We also share with each other what helps our associate doctors quickly gain clinical and financial success. There success will help in my office's success and eventually lead to their future with the company as owner dentists. I love that I am able to run my office in a unique way that will differentiate my office from other Pacific Dental Service offices. On the other side, I enjoy the supported autonomy that allows me to focus on that type of development of my office.

Cons

The only thing that I wish for is that I could turn back time and should have joined Pacific Dental Services a long time ago.
