      Good balance between small and huge. Financial culture without the edge

      Pros

      Working in a few different areas/roles, there were plenty of opportunities to find something you liked. It's ok to stumble a little.. the organization helps find a role that fits you and them if you have potential. Sometimes the culture and rumors make it sound like that's not the case. It's a no non-sense and fact oriented culture, which for me was a plus. Don't expect to BS your way to success. Less cutthroat than typical financial/trading stereotypes, however. It's no startup, but you can have an impact.

      Cons

      There's a feeling that it's constantly in transition. They want to keep everyone adapting and changing.. sometimes that doesn't land for most. It's probably the root of most of the reviews here mentioning lack of focus.

We need to do a better job of sharing the reasons for our decisions and communicating more transparently, so it's easier for everyone to understand our core focus.       Great culture and people

      Good benefits, compensated well, great corporate culture, fun parties, lots of opportunities to get involved in the community or with other business divisions

      Cons

      strict hierarchy, productivity sometimes seemed less important than face time in the office or accessibility after hours, executives were inaccessible

We do hold regular all-hands to share goals, challenges, and updates on business performance and are also working to drive transparency into other processes across the business. We want employees to be empowered and to foster a culture of empowerment aligned with our core values. We are also broadening the leadership in our trading business, which should improve accessibility to a broader set of leaders.
