      Pros

      High energy, dynamic environment, constant challenges.

      Cons

      Never worked anywhere that was more full of itself! Lack of recognition for technical achievements. Unrealistic deadlines were set, and woe betide anyone who does not meet them. If your work suffers for any reason, you are not given a chance to improve; you are out on your ear with no notice. You may be able to collect your things from your desk if you are lucky.

      Revolving door - poor hiring choices/HR mgmt

      Pros

      Fairly good reputation in Chicago - good location easily accessed by public transportation. Office is well-decorated and the other employees are friendly and helpful.

      Cons

      Very cheap company - low salary ranges for similar jobs in other companies and industries. This leads to a revolving door and low morale. Communication between mgmt levels is very weak as is feedback and recognition. Seems to have more office politics than the typical firm. Very much a "CYA" philosophy. Leaders need to get their feedback from the people in the trenches - not just from the upper level mgmt.
