-Union job + decent (not great) pay -Occasional over time opportunities -Occasional events in which there's free food -Volunteer opportunities (although in the call center, they restrict your from attending almost everything while the other departments are free to engage in these activities) -Free junk such as gym bags, drawstring bags, etc -At best, this job is good too make some quick money. Save up all the while looking for something much more valuing and deserving of your efforts; this place is NOT it

Cons

-Paid slavery -Obsessive micromanaging -No work-life balance -Lack of trust in employees and no independence. Every week, they have meetings to notify us of new rules and policies that can get us fired (very encouraging to work somewhere that likes rubbing in your face how expendable they think you are). -Socioeconomic discrimination within the company. The call center mainly comprises of minorities many of whom only have a highschool education, thus when trying to network and branch out to other departments within the company, you're discriminated against simply for coming from the call center (despite your credentials, even if you hold a degree or 2 and years of experience) -Modern day sweatshop, literally. You're monitored and graded on your daily performance which includes length of calls, hold time, after call work, making certain statements, and how long you were logged out of the system. You get emails every couple of hours berating you about how long you've done this or that. It's very discouraging. -You're expected to perform like a robot and take hundreds of verbally abusive calls back to back in 4 minutes or less without getting burnt out (remember if you get overwhelmed and try to catch a breather, you'll get yelled at in emails and eventually get called in the office and written up). -Detrimental to physical AND mental health. The strict policies and lack of wiggle room to breathe and feel like a human will force you to be glued to your seat if you want to get a passing grade for the day. Many people have either developed muscle problems, or those who had pre-existing conditions got worse. The Draconian policies also tear apart your mental health, making it the most dreaded place to come to. Some fellow colleagues claim their doctors encourage them to find new employment as this department is exacerbating their blood pressure and anxiety
