- In my opinion, they realized I was someone who minded their business and didn’t worship management but treated them neutrally. I did my work and went home. I think this triggered their insecurities. How dare I not worship the ground they walk in? They decided to fire me for another reason, to make it seem legit in my opinion. How did they do this? THE TRUTH IS: Out of the blue, they scheduled a meeting an hour beforehand, said I was to be let go, took my laptop and ID and told me to exit the building asap. This was in the space of 1 HOUR. Imagine going to work one hour and then the next, you’ve been forced out the building, all of your coworker relationships immediately destroyed. If I could go back in time I PERSONALLY WOULD NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY. I’m very happy I don’t work there anymore! - I felt micromanaged. Yes, even if remote working, there was calls if you left your desk for more than an hour or closed the slack app. - Office politics. I experienced gossip, backstabbing and incompetent management and many more blessings. - promotion is based tenure, not merit. (Based on my conclusions.) So if you’re a driven person who seeks fast progression, go elsewhere in my opinion. - I learnt basically nothing about private equity from working here. I learnt more by myself on YouTube lmao - salary is not good enough for 2023 London, in my opinion. You could arguably make more money working as a tradesman contractor
