Pros

Pennymac has a nice cafeteria, people other than "the circle", are friendly. Good benefits as far as health insurance and vacation time.

Cons

No raises, no job security, no respect for employees. They don't care if they have good employees or educated. They will fire you or demote you to save the company money. Location is inconvenient.

Pros

Corporate Benefits are very good

Cons

Squid Games! They hire too many LOs, and ask for a review on 1st week (weird), then fire everyone. No cap, half our starting team is gone in 8m. Wild!

Upper Management is too much

Pros

The people here are great and mostly all of us get along.

Cons

Upper management has turned into control freaks. Employees are judged and viewed based on numbers on a screen but not the quality of their work. Most departments have to report to the office every day. Some still have hybrid, but if you utilize their hybrid schedule you will get scolded and will have it used against you if you want a promotion or raise (not that they’d give you one anyways). The company has a whole has a “control” problem where they have this old school mentality of wanting to control people. They will find every excuse in the book to delay and put off raises/promotions, but will swing and change an entire organization over night. They will constantly tell you why they “can’t” do things that would benefit the employee, but will change the entire dynamic of the department on a moments notice when it does t benefit the employees.
